1. Marriage is the legal union of a man and a woman.
(assumption - gays should not be allowed to marry)
2. Marriage is when a man and a woman have God santify their their relationship.
(assumption - marriage is a religious union)
3. Marriage is the union between adults that can procreate.
(assumption - the purpose of marriage is procreation)
