Good start! I think the first intro and thesis are the most promising, but you may want to consider expanding. Right now the thesis focuses on celebrity appeal, but that won't be enough to write a 3-5 page paper. The Chrysler 300 ad has a LOT of ethos - celebrity appeal, nationalism/regionalism... and it also has appeals to the "authority of the underdog" (see the Lindstrom article - Lindstrom discusses how the underdog (ironically) has cultural authority). You may consider expanding your analysis to explore range of ethos in this ad.

You had a good use of ethos with Eminem and you were able to tie it in to your thesis well. I would expand more on the ethos of the city of Detroit and the cultural authority that it personally has, and I would adjust the thesis a little bit. You did a very good job on expanding about the appeal of Eminem, but I would just broaden it a little more so that you have more to write about, and then I would try to tie it into one of the online articles that we have read.

Thesis you can say Chrysler advertises the 200 by using an authority figure like Eminem to appeal more to people, also they use background music in order to make people excited about their product. (use whatever appeal you caught from the commercial and show how they used them).

p1:how they incorporated Eminem and how that got them a lot more attention.
P2:maybe how the music in the background wants you to incorporate happy thoughts before buying the car.
P3: hidden messages in the commercial and how their audience is people from Detroit, and how the underdog city can make cars like the 200.

Lastly maybe you can talk about if the advertisement was successful or not.
